Scholarship Award for First Language Speakers
30 October 2007
NZALT is concerned about the Cabinet decision to change the eligibility of native speakers to receive Scholarship awards in languages, competing alongside non-native speakers of the language. This decision is planned to take effect next year.

Australian Language Certificates have changed their name

These are now called 'Assessment of Language Competence Certificates' (same acronym, more universal). There are now 3 levels of certificates available in most languages. See the ACER website for further information and to download a registration form. Registration closes Fri 18 May.
