Passion for Languages Rewarded – Excellence in Teaching Award

The Timaru Herald has reported NZALT’s recent Excellence in Teaching award to Jenny Field.  The article opens with these words:

“Jenny Field's combined passions for teaching and all things French have been recognised with a certificate of excellence. The Craighead Diocesan School head of languages was awarded a New Zealand Association of Language Teachers (NZALT) certificate for excellence in language teaching. Field was nominated by fellow staff and students at the school for her contribution to teaching languages for over 30 years. She was the only New Zealander to receive the accolade this year. Field said it was an honour and she felt incredibly humbled as she had only ever tried to do her best.”
