New Zealand Language Teacher
The NZ Language Teacher is the official, refereed academic journal of NZALT. It is published once a year, in term 4. The focus of NZ Language Teacher is on language teaching and learning and curriculum/policy matters of interest to language teachers. Members receive a free copy of this journal.

Polyglot
 This is the official magazine of NZALT. It is published once or twice a year, depending on the availability of articles. It contains articles of general interest to the classroom teacher, including regional news, classroom teaching ideas and reports of trips, exchanges and study awards. To make a contribution make sure that your article is in rich text format (rtf) and send it via E-mail to the editor, Jasmine Langdale at xasmine@gmail.com. Course Endorsement
Bali Haque of NZQA has provided NZALT with the following information about Course Endorsement:
"As you may be aware, in 2011, NZQA introduced Course Endorsement. The purpose of Course Endorsement is to increase student motivation by providing recognition for those who perform exceptionally well in individual courses.
Attached for your membership are a Course Endorsement update, and a Course Endorsement guide. This guide provides an explanation of course endorsement to teachers, and can be used as a primary reference point for implementing course endorsement in 2011. The guide and other course endorsement information will also feature on the NZQA website in due course." To download the update click here  (pdf).
